The University of Oklahoma announced Wednesday that it will host what it is calling a "large-scale COVID-19 vaccine clinic" this Friday.

The clinic, which is hosted by OU Health Services and the OU Health Sciences Center, will take place from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the OU Armory on 290 West Brooks Street in Norman.

University faculty, staff and students will be eligible to receive a vaccination on Friday. Family members of the university's faculty and staff, who are within the state's first, second and third phases of vaccine eligibility, can also receive a dose at the clinic.

There will be 4,000 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine administered on Friday, the university said.

Attendees are required to wear masks and adequately social distance during the clinic.
