Tulsa police have confirmed that a man has died after a fall at a downtown Tulsa construction site near Cameron Street and Detroit Avenue on Friday morning.

Tulsa Police said 52-year-old Abel Garcia died after falling from a wooden catwalk on the 11th floor.

Both police officers and detectives were on scene investigating following the accident. The scene has since been cleared.
Crews have confirmed that all workers on the site have been sent home and construction will cease temporarily for the day.
