Two teenagers were shot during a rolling gun battle on a Tulsa interstate Monday afternoon, according to Tulsa police.
Police said the gun battle started on I-244 near 35th West Avenue around 2 p.m. They said four teenagers bailed out of a car along I-244 and ran across the street to the OSU Physicians clinic near 23rd Street.
Officials said two of the four teens were shot.
Officers said multiple people called 911 saying they saw two cars shooting at each other on the interstate. They said the gold car is the vehicle the teenagers were driving. Officers said that car was reported stolen Monday morning and has multiple bullet holes.
Tulsa Police said they are still looking for the other car involved and aren't releasing a vehicle description at this moment.
"There's definitely been either one way gunfire or an exchange of gunfire. There's multiple calibers involved," Tulsa Police Sgt. JD Showman said. "We don't have a suspect description and our victims aren't being cooperative."
Police have not yet identified the victims or suspects.
Police said the two teenagers who were shot are expected to be OK.
This is a developing story.
