The City of Pryor declared April 21 as ‘Kindness Day’ thanks to the work of one amazing Oklahoman.
Chloe Binford, a Pryor High School student, is the founder of a nonprofit called Kode-word Kindness. It’s focused on fighting bullying by spreading kindness and positivity.
She went before the city council this month to ask them to make April 21 Kindness Day – and they agreed.
“If I can get a day proclaimed in Pryor, then that is one step closer to changing the world through small acts of kindness,” Binford said.
