The Tulsa Parks Department is working to come up with a new plan for expansion and improvement, relying in part on the community’s feedback.

The Department is hosting a meeting to go over early results of a survey on future needs Thursday evening. A consulting firm is still gathering feedback from the community on what’s needed.

The webinar is Thursday night at 6 p.m. You can click here to sign up.

The Tulsa Parks Department is using survey information – with feedback continuing – to shape what’s going to be a 10-year Master Plan. The plan will shape planning and funding for the parks department.

The City hired a consultant to inventory park property and other recreational opportunities in Tulsa, to avoid duplication in effort.
