Summer Fishing Opportunities Kick Off In Oklahoma

This weekend kicks off a summer of fun fishing opportunities in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma's Free Fishing Days take place Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6.

During Oklahoma's Free Fishing days, anyone can go fishing without a state fishing license.

Then starting on Tuesday, June 8 the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation will start hosting free fishing clinics for all ages at the Oklahoma Aquarium Complex Zebco Pond.

Folks will get hands-on training, like learning how to cast, tie knots and fish identification, plus plenty of time to fish.

Fishing licenses are not required for the clinics and rods, reels and tackle will be provided.
