A four-year-old Oklahoma boy who battled cancer for two years, had a special day today!

Make-A-Wish and several community partners helped to do Something Good, by making little Benjamin's dream of becoming a construction worker, a reality!

4-year-old Benjamin's day started with a limo ride from his home in Edmond to the Union Football Stadium here in Tulsa. That is where Benjamin met the men and women he wants to be like when he grows up. See, Benjamin was diagnosed with cancer when he was almost 2 years old. He is 4 now and Benjamin's dad says doctors think his little boy is in the clear.

"When they would go to the hospital for cancer treatments, they would go down a highway that was under construction," said Jane Rohweder with Make-A-Wish, "His wish was to be a construction worker!"

The crews at Crossland Construction stepped up in huge ways to make Benjamin's wish happen! After a morning full of pouring concrete and riding on construction equipment, the group had lunch chicken, with the Chick-Fil-A cow, family, and new friends!

Tulsa Firefighters came to meet Benjamin, take him on a ride in a firetruck, even show him how to use some of their gear.

"He is a special kid. I know most parents would say that about their children," said Benjamin's Dad Stephen Brister, "He is not Benjamin the cancer patient, he is just Benjamin now."
