Pedestrian Struck, Killed By RV In Cleveland County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a deadly auto-pedestrian accident Tuesday in Norman.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a deadly auto-pedestrian accident Tuesday in Norman.

The accident happened just after 10 p.m. on Interstate 35 southbound and Main Street.

Authorities said a pedestrian, identified as 26-year-old Forrest Ford of Norman, entered the roadway crossing the interstate from westbound to eastbound when he was struck by an RV.

Ford was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.

The driver of the RV and at least one passenger were not injured. Currently, OHP is unsure of the conditions of two more individuals inside the RV.
