Pottawatomie County Woman Arrested On First-Degree Murder Complaint

Pottawatomie County authorities said they arrested a woman accused of fatally shooting a man back in January.

Deputies responded to a residence in Macomb where they found a man shot to death at the scene.

The victim was identified as James Lee. The suspect, identified as Katie Lee, said the shooting was an accident.

Authorities viewed security camera footage inside the home. They said the video evidence suggested the video was not an accident.

After completing an arrest warrant, deputies arrested Katie Lee Wednesday.

She was booked into the Pottawatomie County jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
