A 19-year-old is in critical condition after a hit-and-run crash while he was riding his bike to work early Thursday morning.
Dallas Lowry's dad, Scott Lowry, said he is in a medically-induced coma with several injuries, including a brain bleed, a fractured vertebra, and bruised lungs. Lowry said his son Dallas is a 19-year-old who has the biggest heart and the kindest soul.
"He's my kiddo, and just means the world to me," he said.
Dallas and his brother Michael were riding their bikes to work at Starbucks around 5 a.m. when a driver hit Dallas and then kept going.
"I think I am still in shock from it, I don't think I've come down from that adrenaline rush yet," Scott said.
Police say the driver, Kylah Pumphrey hit Dallas with her car, but stopped about a half-mile away in a parking lot.

Police say she was visibly shaken, had called her mom and said she didn't stop because she was scared because she doesn't have a driver's license.
Scott said while he's feeling a lot of emotions, he hopes she's okay.
"I feel for her, it's something that no matter how it turns out, she's going to be living with this for the rest of her life. There's nothing but love from me because I know that she's going to be having a hard time as well," he said.
Scott said Dallas just graduated from the Oklahoma School for the Deaf about three weeks ago and plans to start college in the fall to study computer science. Scott said his son has overcome a lot in life, which is what gives his family hope he can get through this.
"He's got a light that shines brighter than most people you know, if anybody has strength to do anything, I know it's him," he said.
Police say Pumphrey has been arrested for driving without a license and leaving the scene of an injury collision.
