The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a deadly collision Wednesday night in Alfalfa County.
Authorities said a vehicle traveling northbound on County Road 550 just south of Craig Road when it departed the roadway for an unknown reason.
The vehicle crossed back into the roadway, left the roadway to the west and struck an embankment. The vehicle overturned for an unknown number of times and ejected the driver out of the rear driver's side quarter window.
The driver, identified as 29-year-old Kiersten Kubicek of Weatherford, was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
OHP said Kubicek was not wearing a seatbelt.
