Tulsa Fire's Hazmat unit and the Tulsa Police Bomb Squad gave the all-clear Wednesday morning dangerous liquid inside an old safe near 11th and Highway 169.

"The device has vials of tear gas in it. So out of an abundance of caution, we contacted the police and fire department to see what we need to do with it," said Derek Taylor of Taylor's Treasure's Estate Sales & Consignments

The group was getting ready for an estate sale when they discovered the 100-year-old safe. A handwritten note was also found, saying the vials were either Nitroglycerin or Chloropicrin.

The note stated the chemicals inside the vials were highly volatile from World War I. Police say the bomb squad safely removed the vials and disposed of them at a secure location.
