Haskell Police Identify Victim Of Fatal Shooting In Muskogee County

One woman is dead in Muskogee County after being shot multiple times while driving on Saturday night.

HASKELL, Oklahoma -

UPDATE: The Haskell Police Department identified 27-year-old Alyssa Rene Edlund from Jenks as the victim from the shooting in Haskell Saturday afternoon.

The homicide is still under investigation.

Haskell Police say one woman was shot multiple times while driving Saturday evening.

She was rushed to the hospital, but died on the way.

Haskell Police Chief Mike Keene said "It's always horrible and unfortunately it seems like our crime rate is going up all over but, this is new for us we don't typically have a lot of situations like this in a small town but hopefully we will be able to get it taken care of and out of here."
