A man charged with murdering his brother, five children and shooting the children's mother, was in court today in Muskogee County.
Jarron Pridgeon was arrested in February and Monday was his preliminary hearing, where a judge will decide if there is enough evidence for Pridgeon to stand trial.
Brittany Anderson survived the shooting and confronted her ex-boyfriend Jarron Pridgeon today outside the courtroom.
Police arrested Pridgeon for shooting and killing 5 of Anderson’s children inside her home back in February. The children ranged from 1 to 9 years old and Pridgeon was the father of three of them. Pridgeon is also charged with killing his brother and shooting Anderson.
The court hearing closed today because the judge said a portion of the testimony would be used in a separate deprived children case involving Anderson.
Anderson’s attorney tells us officers testified today and went over the basic timeline of the crime, beginning with the 911 phone call, to when officers arrived and found the victims.
The preliminary hearing continues Wednesday, and Anderson is expected to testify.
Some media outlets, include News On 6, will ask to be allowed inside the proceeding.
