Team Oklahoma from Green Country little league in Muskogee is looking like the team that everybody is chasing at the Little League Softball World Series.
Tuesday was the second day of bracket play for the team after their win Monday against Arizona.
The team faced Columbia, Missouri, in the win-or-go-home match Tuesday, and it was clear the Oklahoma girls weren’t ready to go home.
Oklahoma moves onto the championship with a 7-0 win.
"That was a pretty complete game that we just did today and hopefully tomorrow we got another one in us," head coach Johnny Hutchens said. "That's a good team over there and we're fortunate to come out with a win today. It's great, but we got one more to go, we're still not finished."
For the championship matchup, the Green Country All-Stars will square up against Virginia, who knocked off Texas 7-5. The game is Wednesday.
If they win, they will be the first team from Oklahoma to win the Little League Softball World Series.
OU coach Patty Gasso, among other Oklahomans, wished the team well as they compete for the championship Wednesday.
