Search Underway After Pursuit Suspect Ditches Crashed Truck, Runs Into Wooded Area In OKC

A perimeter is set and a suspect search is underway after a man in pursuit with authorities bailed from a maroon pickup truck Thursday in Oklahoma County.

The chase ended near East Lake Stanley Draper Drive. 

The suspect ran into the woods.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, the warrant team was attempting to serve a warrant on the suspect.

Authorities said he fled and the chase began.

The Oklahoma City Police Department brought K-9's to the scene and is assisting in the search.
