11-Year-Old Safe After Attempted Abduction In Broken Arrow

An 11-year-old girl was able to get away after someone tried to abduct her while she was riding her bike, Broken Arrow Police said.

Police said that the girl was riding her bicycle Saturday at the intersection of Ash Ct. and Fulton Street when someone came up to her, knocked her to the ground and tried to pull her into a van.

Police said the girl was unable to tell if it was a man or a woman. Officials said the vehicle had tinted window, but did not know the color of the van.
