Some cities across the country are asking people to conserve water to save on oxygen supplies for COVID-19 patients.

Some hospitals use liquid oxygen to keep COVID patients breathing.

The City of Tulsa says it will not ask residents to conserve water because the city does not use additional oxygen in its water treatment process because the supply doesn't need it.

Cities like Norman, Oklahoma use liquid oxygen to treat their groundwater. Currently, there is a shortage of liquid oxygen because so many people are hospitalized with COVID-19.
