Haskell County Sheriff Speaks Out Against Biden Vaccine Mandate

In a letter posted to social media, the Haskell County Sheriff said he will not require his employees to get vaccinated. The decision comes after President Joe Biden’s announcement for businesses with more than 100 employees to get vaccinated or test for COVID-19 every week.

Sheriff Tim Turner is one of several sheriffs across the state who are speaking out against the mandate. Sheriff Turner said he thinks COVID-19 has created division across the country, and it has only increased with the rollout of the vaccine.
