Investigators Search Woods After Human Remains Found

On Tuesday, Tulsa County search teams looked in wooded areas after the medical examiner's office identified human remains found in the woods as Jack Grimes. Deputies hoped to find clues that could lead them to Glenda Parton and Dewayne Selby.

“We hold out hope that Glenda and Dewayne are fine and these are just weird circumstances for them," Sheriff Vic Regalado said.

Deputies searched the same woods with cadavers and tracking dogs. It's the same area where a group of hunters found human remains on Sunday. Sheriff Regalado said the medical examiner's office identified the remains as Jack Grimes. "It’s not a stretch to say that other remains may be found in that immediate area," said Sheriff Regalado.

The search area is less than a mile from Grimes and Dewayne Selby's home. The two were last seen on October 22nd and were supposed to be heading to Fort Worth, but never showed up. Selby's mother, Glenda Parton, went looking for them and went missing as well. Parton's car was found near Highway 75 and 56th Street North. "We have a very tight timeline that continues to expand almost hour by hour in this case," said Sheriff Regalado.

The sheriff said they are looking into people possibly involved in this case, but as of now don't know exactly what happened.
