1 Person Killed In Industrial Accident In SE OKC

One person is dead after an industrial accident in southeast Oklahoma City. 

Firefighters were dispatched to the 6800 block of S. Sunnylane just before 9 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man about 30 feet in the air on a scissor lift. The victim had been wedged between two pipes while working on removing overhead piping from the building. 

The piping was stabilized, and firefighters were able to remove the victim from the entrapment. 

The incident is currently under investigation. OSHA will lead that investigation.
