TULSA, Oklahoma -

A piece of American history is on display right now at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.

The Wildkat DC3 C-49 carried cargo and dropped paratroopers from the sky during World War II.

The World War II Airborne Demonstration Team in Southwest Oklahoma owns it.

The plane was also in Tulsa back in 2015 for restoration work at the ADT Tulsa Air Operations Squadron.

It will be on display at the museum again on Wednesday until 4 p.m.
