Troopers are investigating a crash that left a man from Spavinaw dead Friday night.

The crash happened just before 5 p.m. on State Highway 82, just north of Spavinaw. Troopers said three cars were involved.

Troopers said Clinton Cowart was headed north on the highway when he drove into the path of a southbound Jeep driven by Michael Shearrer.

Shearrer was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cowart's car continued and hit Jeremiah Yank, who was also driving south.

Cowart, his passenger, and Shearrer's passenger were all taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
