First responders from agencies across Oklahoma have new life saving tools thanks to a Bartlesville nonprofit organization.

Every donation made through the non-profits' store, its Amazon Wishlist or its donation link makes sure first responders across the country have the gear they need, which could save someone's life.

"It has got tourniquets and trauma sheers, bandages and gauze. If someone has a major bleed out event, this kit could save their life," said Jon Beckloff, Founder of Project Tribute Foundation, "If it could save a life, we are in for it."

The project is focused on providing 1,000 stop the bleed kits to first responders across Oklahoma.

"Really the goal is small town Oklahoma. We focus across the nation, but we have to start somewhere," said Jon Beckloff, "I love to help others."

The group recently went to Cleveland, Oklahoma to donate tourniquets to police. They also donated to Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers.

"We do know, for a fact, two of our tourniquets were used in Washington County and saved two separate people's lives," said Jon Beckloff.

The nonprofit depends on donations to do its work. They believe their work could give someone suffering a second chance at life.
