Tulsa Police are looking for three teenagers who broke into a vape shop and stole more than $3,000 worth of items.

Burn Culture CBD manager, Katy Newton said the boys actually came into the store earlier in the day before breaking in that night.

"I guess since they came in earlier that day before we had closed, and they were denied one too many times, and decided to retaliate," Newton said.

Newton said the teens aren't old enough to purchase the vape cartridges, but when they broke in they stole 50 of them.

They also stole the store's iPad and cash box.

She said her main fear is the boys reselling the cartridges to their friends.

"You're not supposed to have it as a teenager. It's meant for adults. That's why it's been legalized. And we don't want kids out there spreading it to their buddies and selling it around school and everything else," she said.

Newton said in the past few months, they've had several people try to shoplift items.

She said it isn't fair because they are a small business who works hard.

"It's just one hit after the next. These are the businesses that we need to really help in our community, and make sure they stick around," she said.

Newton added that they are working with Tulsa Police to figure out the names of the boys. She said in the meantime, they are taking extra precautions.

The store is putting bars on the windows and getting new glass that's harder to break.

"I just have so much pride in this place, and all of us that work here do, to see someone had disrespected so much after all the work and the love the owners put into this place, it just broke my heart," she said.

Newton said the store is still open while they fix the window.

If you recognize any of the three boys, call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
