Two brothers pleaded guilty to their involvement in a string of dispensary robberies in Tulsa and Bartlesville last year.

Thomas Spears pled guilty this week to robbing a dispensary near 71st and Peoria last July. Thomas Spears was sentenced to five years in prison, but four of those were suspended which means one year in prison. His brother pled guilty to four robberies and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Thomas Spears told police he and his brother Matthew, robbed the Tulsa House of Fire dispensary with a gun and stole money from the cash register. The clerk at the dispensary was hit with the gun during the robbery.

Matthew Spears pled guilty to robbing dispensaries in Tulsa and Bartlesville. He’d robbed the Eufloria Dispensary near Cameron and MLK in downtown Tulsa and held a gun to the clerk's head demanding cash and then stole marijuana. Two other suspects helped Spears during that robbery. Those two suspects were arrested but their court cases are still ongoing.
