ODOT (Oklahoma Department of Transportation) crews are getting ready for another round of winter weather Wednesday morning.
ODOT said the good thing about last week's storm is they already have supplies ready to go to start spreading when the storm gets here later Wednesday morning.
Because we are expecting freezing rain and ice to form over the next several hours, crews are going to be out spreading the salt and sand mixture once the storm hits.
ODOT and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority crews are working together to help spread that mixture on Tulsa's 1,100 miles of highway lanes.
TJ Gerlach with ODOT said luckily they didn't have to do too much to prepare for the storm.
"Most of them were still prepared from last week's storms so we haven't had to do a whole lot of preparation this week. We're just making sure that all of the emergency lights work as well as the sanders are prepped as well," Gerlach said.
