Tulsa Police Arrest 2 People Accused Of Leading Officers On Chase In Stolen Vehicle

Tulsa police say two men are in jail on Tuesday morning after lading officers on a chase that ended near I-244 and Yale.

According to police, officers had been on the lookout for the stolen car that the teenagers were in because police believed that it could be related to some car burglary cases.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police say they spotted the car, with two men inside, leaving a gas station parking lot. Authorities say the car matched the description of the one officers had been looking for, so they tried to pull the driver over, but they took off.

Investigators say police lost sight of the vehicle during the chase but other officers who got involved noticed the two men running on foot across I-244 just west of Yale. Police say they were able to get both men in custody on the other side of the Highway.

According to police, the car was left near Toledo on the other side of 244. Police say the car belongs to the mom of one of the suspects.

Officers have not released the name of the two individuals involved.
