University Of Tulsa Introduces Eric Konkol As Head Basketball Coach

A new era of Golden Hurricane basketball is upon the Reynolds Center as Eric Konkol has been named the school's 31st head basketball coach. Konkol comes to Tulsa following seven seasons at LA Tech, where he compiled a 153 and 75 record.

He won 67-percent of games and had six seasons of at least 20 victories with the Bulldogs.

The University of Tulsa formally introduced him today at the Reynolds Center.

Konkol's goals are to bring championships back to the University, hit the recruiting trail harder than ever, and keep Oklahoma recruits in the state and play for the University of Tulsa.

"This will also be our city's team. Our staff will work relentlessly to recruit players from our region as well as recruit fans from our city, so we can create a unified toughness and togetherness on gamedays. We need all of you now," said Konkol.
