The City of Muskogee hosted its 55th annual Azalea Parade Saturday morning.
The parade returned after it was canceled for several years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It is part of Muskogee's Azalea Festival, which runs throughout the month of April, celebrating the annual Azalea blooms.
Muskogee Parks and Recreation Director Mark Wilkerson recommends going to Muskogee to visit the azaleas in their different stages of blooming.
"If you're in the region of Muskogee ideally you want to come a couple of times, two or three times, just to see the whole month of blooms," said Wilkerson.
There are several more events planned throughout the month of April to celebrate the festival.
