Victim In NW Oklahoma City Murder-Suicide Identified, Police Confirm

A double shooting at a northwest Oklahoma City hotel Thursday has been confirmed as a murder-suicide.

Officers responded to the incident Thursday morning in the 2800 block of NW Expressway.

Authorities on scene discovered one person had been shot to death with another man critically wounded in a hotel room.

The critically wounded man died shortly after at a nearby hospital.

Investigators of the case discovered the suspect and the victim were both in a room at the hotel when the suspect shot the victim.

The victim was identified as 46-year-old Boyed Steen.

After shooting the victim, the suspect then shot himself.

The motive of the murder-suicide is not known at this time.
