Man Arrested After Shooting At Garvin County Authorities

A man is in custody after the Garvin County Sheriff's Office (GCSO) said he shot at officers responding to a call on Saturday at a home northeast of Pauls Valley.

The GCSO said deputies with the sheriff's office, along with officers from the Pauls Valley Police Department, were fired at by the unidentified man from inside a home.

Authorities called for backup and the Chickasaw Lighthorse Police tactical team helped move the deputies and officers to safety with an armored vehicle.

The tactical team was then able to take the male into custody. The GCSO said he was airlifted to a hospital.

No word on any injuries at this time.
