Armed Man Dies After Deputy Shoots Him In Caddo County, OSBI Says

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) said an armed man was shot by a deputy and died at the hospital in Caddo County Sunday afternoon.

This happened at a home in Anadarko, Oklahoma, at about 1 p.m.

According to the OSBI, a family member called 911 to report a disturbance.

A deputy arrived on the scene and found a man with a machete in the front yard, according to authorities.

The deputy then fired and hit the man. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
