Two people were injured following a shooting that took place overnight at a birthday party near Choctaw, according to Oklahoma City Police.
Police responded to a shooting call at around 12:30 a.m. near South Indian Meridian Road and Southeast 44th Street.
Officers said they observed that 30 to 60 teenagers had gathered for a birthday party.
Police said they found a victim with three gunshot wounds, and they were transported to a hospital, stabilized, then transferred to a different hospital in critical condition.
Officers said the victim had been through surgery and was stabilized again.
According to OCPD, the victim’s current condition is unknown.
Officers were notified of a second victim that was taken to the hospital in a private vehicle and had a grazed gunshot wound to the cheek.
Police said they have no suspect information at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
