A 21-year-old supervisor of a metro fast food restaurant was recently arrested for allegedly raping an underage employee.

Oklahoma County authorities said Christopher Lupo is currently in custody at the Oklahoma County Detention Center facing possible prison time and becoming a lifelong registered sex offender.

A decision to go from co-workers to allegedly sneaking into a 15-year-old family's home in the middle of the night landed Lupo with two felony sex crime charges.

The victim told the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office she met Lupo at work and he was her direct supervisor.

Brian Bates, private investigator and operator of JohnTVOKC, said Friday that this happens all too often.

“This is a warning not only to parents who send their children out to their first jobs,” Bates said. “It’s also a warning to kids who go and do this and are very impressionable by people who are older than them.”

According to court documents, the friendship went outside of work when Lupo dropped off a Bible, a journal and other items at the teenager's home.

“He was using religion and the Bible and all these things that seem like a positive role model-type situation,” said Bates. “But he moved that into a sexual relationship.”

Lupo told authorities he snuck into the victim's home twice for sex. The victim's father reported Lupo to the sheriff's office after watching video evidence from a home security system.

“He came to their house – to her parent’s home -- and snuck through a window,” Bates said. “He knew everything about this was wrong.”

Lupo admitted to investigators he knew the victim was underage and that his actions were wrong.

“Even if he wants to argue that this was just a relationship, it was consensual,” said Bates. “She’s under 16, so she can’t legally give consent. So it was actually rape.”

Lupo has pleaded not guilty. A judge set his bond at $50,000.
