Gov. Stitt Approves Request To Activate Oklahoma Air National Guard To Assist In Wildfires

Gov. Kevin Stitt has approved the Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture Blayne Arthur’s request to activate the Oklahoma Air National Guard to assist with suppressing wildfires.

Stitt said they will provide air support to firefighters on the ground dealing with excessive heat from the blaze.

He also said that preserving homes and businesses is a top priority.
