Sixteen years ago, Myle Anderson was born, and it's a story like something seen in a movie.

When Myle's mother, Channa, went into labor, her family raced to the hospital.

They had to stop at an E-Z Mart parking lot in Glenpool.

First responders showed up at the scene and helped the family deliver her.

Despite curiosity, Myle has never met the first responders who got there just in time, but that changed.

Retired Jenks Firefighter Chris Lester came and surprised her.

Lester said having someone remember you years after helping them makes being a first responder incredibly rewarding.

"I was so glad when I got the call," Lester said. "I mean I think about it every once and a while so it's super exciting to get a call and say, 'hey I want you to come out,'" Lester said.

Myle's grandma said the two other first responders weren't able to make it, but she hopes they will be able to meet soon.
