Tahlequah High School has announced that students will remain in distance learning for the remainder of the week.
According to the district, THS and Central students will return to in-person learning on Monday, September 12.

Students at Tahlequah High School will be in distance learning on Tuesday morning after the district reported "tragic events" on Monday.
Details surrounding the event are currently unclear, but the Tahlequah Police Chief said that because the people involved are tribal citizens, the case is being handled by the FBI.
The high school shared a message on its Facebook page stating that due to "the tragic events," the district and police department felt it was in the best interest of students and staff to learn from home.
Students at Tahlequah High School will be in distance learning on Tuesday, September 6 and Wednesday, September 7. All other schools will hold classes as normal.
