Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Troopers say a Welch man is dead after a crash in Craig County in late September.
Troopers say the deadly crash happened along US-59 just west of St. Louis Street on Wednesday, September 21, around 9:57 a.m.
According to troopers, 60-year-old Stephen King was stopped in a private drive way waiting for traffic to clear. Troopers say King attempted to crass the road but struck an oncoming Dodge Ram that was pulling 20’ gooseneck trailer.
Troopers say King was knocked off of his golf cart during the crash and hit by the trailer that was being pulled by the truck.
King was pronounced dead on the scene but Mercy EMS.
The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured in the crash.
