Two men were arrested on Wednesday after an attempted traffic stop turned into a crash, according to the Collinsville Police Department.
Police said at around 1:42 p.m., officers attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle when the driver attempted to evade.
As a result, the driver crashed the vehicle, police said.
Elijah West, Renel Shaw and Sabrina Schrader were inside of the vehicle, police said.
Shaw and Schrader had warrants for their arrest, and West and Shaw have both been convicted of violent felonies in the past.
Officers said they found a firearm with its serial number removed and rounds of ammunition.
West had a set of metal knuckles in his possession, police said.
West has been booked on complaints of careless driving, no insurance, possession of a firearm AFCF, possession of a firearm where the serial number was removed, possession of restricted ammunition and unlawful carry of a weapon, police said.
Shaw was arrested for his Tulsa County warrant and charged with possession of a firearm AFCF, police said.
Schrader was transported to the hospital due to possible injuries in the crash, according to police.
Police said charges for possession of drug paraphernalia are pending.
