‘Twister’ Sequel Expected To Hit Theaters Summer 2024

The 1996 Oklahoma classic "Twister” is finally getting a long-awaited sequel. 

“Twisters” is expected in theaters summer 2024.

The film has been in the works for a couple years, but plot details are vague. 

It’s unclear how the films will be related, though Universal describes the film as “a new chapter from the 1996 movie.”

The original disaster epic was shot right here in Oklahoma and became a massive hit, earning nearly $500 million at the box office.
