Man In Custody After Escaping Police In Oklahoma City

A man that escaped custody after being involved in a police chase in Spencer has been taken back into custody Thursday evening, according to authorities.

Spencer Police said they were in pursuit of the man after a shots fired call Thursday afternoon.

The man was taken into custody at a home near Northeast 50th and Douglas.

The man was transported to SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital where he later escaped police custody, according to Oklahoma City Police.

Police said they found the man behind a business near North Walker Avenue and Northwest 10th Street.

Police said they had already checked the area, and one of the doors was closed, and when they checked again, the door was open.
