Addie Crawford

Addie Crawford is a multimedia journalist for News 9. She joined the News 9 morning team in January of 2023 after interning and reporting part-time while studying at the University of Oklahoma.

Addie has a passion for storytelling and loves to meet new people in the Oklahoma City community. 

After attending the University of Oklahoma, Addie graduated with academic distinction from the Gaylord School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She immersed herself in every opportunity possible with a heavy involvement in 5 different Journalism organizations. It was at OU that Addie developed her love for reporting. She landed her dream job at News 9 out of college through her parents, mentors, and professors' support. 

Since moving to Oklahoma, Addie has always felt a connection to News 9. She began her journey at the station as an intern where reporters and producers took her under their wing. Before the internship had even ended, Addie had already applied for the Campus Correspondent position. She put together one OU related story a week and reported on the 9AM show. Addie’s favorite thing about the job is the opportunity to tell Oklahomans’ stories!
