Oklahomans Gather To Honor Black History Day At State Capitol

The Oklahoma Capitol held its first Black History Day, Monday.

This event was held to celebrate the contributions of African Americans to the economy, culture and growth of Oklahoma.

Civil rights activist Marilyn Luper Hildreth, daughter of Clara Luper, attended.

Millwood and Star Spencer High School bands also performed.
