A new Harvard study found that 36 percent of Americans said they feel serious loneliness.

The American Heart Association said social isolation and loneliness increase the risk of heart attack or stroke by 30 percent.

Experts said the best way to cure a lonely heart is by meeting new people through recreational activities or spend more time with loved ones.
