Winds Contributed To House Fire, OKC Firefighters Say

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said they arrived to the scene of a fire at around 1 a.m. near Southwest 28th Street and South Lee Avenue.

Firefighters said wind was a contributing factor to the heavy flames.

There were four children and two adults in the home, but they were able to make it out safely.

Fire crews said the home is a total loss, and an investigation into the cause is underway,
