Man Arrested, Charged Following Alleged Robbery, Escapes

Charges have been filed against a man accused of robbing a woman before leading Spencer Police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle.

Officers say Dakota Rust then escaped custody in December while getting treatment at an Oklahoma City hospital.

Authorities said they were able to track down Rust and take him into custody.

Rust now faces multiple felonies related to the chase, alleged robbery and escape.
