People Celebrating Mardi Gras With Parade In New Orleans

People from across the world are hosting parades and other festivities for Mardi Gras.

The New Orleans parade began Saturday and will continue until Tuesday.

Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday which is the celebration before the Christian Lenten season where people begin their fasting.
