The Embark transportation company is looking for feedback on where people want to go to create a more successful experience for its customers.

The Director Of The Public Transportation Department, Jason Ferbrache said they have been working on a plan and they are hosting a series of community meetings,

"To really take a look at our current bus system, recognize the changes that have occurred within our community whether it's employers, house medical and make sure our bus system takes people where they want to go," said Ferbrache

Embark has made adjustments to the times and locations where the bus routes will go.

"And now we are back reaching out to the public saying did we hear you and does the plan that we are going to put forth make sense," said Ferbrache

These proposed changes will impact many Oklahomans.

"We provide more than 2.2 million passengers a year just on our fixed route service," said Ferbrache

After these meetings the next step is to present the people’s recommendations to the board for final approval.

"And then we will implement the changes in fall of 2023 to coincide with rapid our communities first bus rapid transit service," said Ferbrache

A meeting will be held at the Southern Oaks Library, Thursday at 5 p.m.
