American Airlines Offer To Match Delta Contract With Pilots

American Airlines is offering its pilots a pay raise and better retirement benefits.

The company's CEO said he will match the recently approved contract Delta gave its pilots.

The four year deal would eventually give senior captains on certain planes about $600,000 a year in salary.

The Allied Pilots Association board voted to open a strike center asking members about authorizing a walkout.
